Applications of Euler Calculus to Image Processing

The talk will outline some emerging applications of Euler calculus (integration with respect to Euler characteristic as a measure) to image processing. These tools are a mix of integral geometry and algebraic topology. New results about integral transforms and inversion will be detailed, with applications to shape discrimination in images.
