Call for Papers
Special JSC Issue - EACA 2006

All the participants of the EACA 2006 Conference are invited to submit papers for the special issue of the Journal of Symbolic Computation devoted to Computer Algebra and Its Applications.

This invitation is also extended to any researcher interested in the topics of the EACA Conference. Namely:
  * Effective methods in Algebra, Analysis, Geometry and Topology.
  * Algorithmic Complexity. 
  * Scientific Computation and Symbolic-Numerical Methods.
  * Systems and Software.
  * Symbolic Computation.
  * Applications to Science and Technology.


Submission instructions
The guideline for the submission and publication procedure will be as follows:
  * High quality research papers (not necessarily bound to a lecture at the EACA Conference) on a topic associated with Computer Algebra and Its Applications are welcome.
  * All the papers will be refereed according to the JSC standards.
  * Papers should be submitted via e-mail to eaca2006@us.es before October 30, 2006. Extended deadline November 30, 2006
  * The preferred format is pdf. Please prepare your manuscript by using the JSC style files, which are available from the JSC homepages at https://www4.ncsu.edu/~hong/jsc.htm .
  * Notification of acceptance: before February 2007. Extended: March 2007
  * The final versions should be sent in by March 2007, (Extended: April 2007) with tex sources, in the same way as the initial submission.
  * Although there is no restriction on length, we would prefer papers not too long (around 15 pages).
  * To aid planning and organization, we would appreciate an email or a letter of intent to submit a paper (including author information and a tentative title and abstract) as early as possible.


Deadline
Papers must be sent, to eaca2006@us.es and following the submission instructions, before October  30, 2006.
Extended deadline: November 30, 2006.
Late submissions will risk rejection without consideration.
