Title:  Searching symbolic solutions for differential equations.

Abstract: For ordinary linear differential equations with coefficients in the 
field of rational functions or in a field of formal Laurent series, there are
algorithms that produce (sometimes) solutions. We will present some
of the theory and some of the algorithms.  Possibly a small excursion to
non linear ordinary differential equations can be made.
