Miguel Pérez Rodríguez has a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Córdoba with a Master's degree in Translational Biomedical Research. Additionally, he has participated in projects of Cell Biology Department of the University of Córdoba since 2014, even obtaining two Semillero Grants from this University to start his career in the research field. During this 4-year period, he has been a collaborator in the academic field, in the BIO-276 Biomembranes, Oxidative Stress and Antioxidants Research Group, of the Department of Cell Biology, Physiology and Immunology of the University of Córdoba. In addition, he has made a summer internship in the CVI-214 Microalgae Biotechnology Group, of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the University of Huelva, a group with which he has continued collaborating. After this experience researching in the academic environment with leading Scientific Groups, he decided to launch BKL, Bio Knowledge Lab, S.L., a biotech and bioinformatics company, where he is Chief Scientific Officer. His training was completed with a certificate of specialization in entrepreneurship issued by the Santander International Entrepreneurship Center.
