Sara García Gil got her bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy in 2019 at the University of Sevilla. She collaborated with Molecular and Applied Pharmacology Research Group (FARMOLAP) as internal student in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, at the University of Seville during two years before her graduation. She carried out her Degree Final Project titled: “Evaluation of the biological activity of terpenes from Perymenium Buphthalmoides” under the supervision of Dr. Elena Talero. Currently, she is a PhD student, under the supervision of Dr. Elena Talero and Dr. Azahara Rodríguez-Luna. Her doctoral studies focus on the evaluation of the protective effects of carotenoids, polyphenols, and their combinations on UV-induced inflammatory damage, in in vitro models using HaCaT keratinocytes and reconstructed human epidermis.
