Stability of principal bundles

Instantonic potentials in physics correspond to stable vector bundles in algebraic geometry, the notion of stability arising from Geometric Invariant Theory in order to provide a parameter space. It has moved a considerable amount of research in Algebraic Geometry in the last thirty years. We will find the notion of stability for principal bundles with arbitrary reductive group over a projective variety and construct a projective parameter space of such objects.
