Seville
airport (see
map 1)
is located about 10 Km north east of the city, on the A4 motorway to
Cordoba and Madrid at km 533. There is a
special
airport bus service (EA
in the bus lines plane) every 30
min, from 05.45 to 00.45 to city centre. The cost of a single ticket is
2.40 EUR and the bus has several stops If you go to Campus Reina
Mercedes area (conference place) you can get off in the last stop (Prado,
Avda del Cid) and there you can take the regular bus number 34 and 37. You can also
take a taxi from the airport to the city centre, but it will cost around
20 EUR (it is quite expensive in comparison with the bus).
If you are coming by
train, you will arrive to Rail Station Santa Justa, which is connected
by regular buses with the city centre.
Sevilla is a very tourist city and lodgement prices are not
cheap. Anyway,
near the Reina Mercedes Campus there are reasonable
options of different
quality levels (see maps 1, 2 and 3)

high in this hotel because it is a high standard hotel, but organisation
has made a great effort to get a special price for ICA delegates.

University Residence “Rector Estanislao del Campo”

CHARACTERISTICS: This
residence is located very near to Reina Mercedes Campus (8-10 minutes
walking), close to the Al-Andalus Palace hotel.
The residence is a new building with all the modern facilities,
including a nice swimming pool. The organisation recommends it as an
excellent option at good price. Everything is new and all the rooms are
fully equipped. All rooms have private bathroom
PRICES
-Single room with private bathroom and private kitchen: 43,90 EUR (IVA
and breakfast
included)
-Single room with private bathroom and shared kitchen:
35,75 EUR (IVA and breakfast included).
These single rooms are located in little apartments of two single
rooms each one with private bathroom. There is a locked door for the
apartment, common to the two single rooms, entrance, kitchen and then,
two separate unlocked doors for each room. Consequently, if you choose
this option, you can indicate which people you wish to share the kitchen
and the entrance of the apartment, or at least, indicate that you wish
to share with a participant of the ICA, to avoid sharing apartment with
a stranger (remember that the door of your single room has no key. -Double
room (large bed) with private bathroom and kitchen: 68,45 EUR (IVA
and breakfast for two persons
included)
Although most of the rooms
at the residence are usually occupied by university students along the
whole year, the director of the residence has kept for the conference 30
single rooms with private kitchen, 9 apartments with share kitchen (18
single rooms) and 3 double rooms (with large bed). But they have kindly
asked that booking should be made before 30 June 2010.

Youth Hostel

CHARACTERISTICS: Sevilla Youth Hostel is a modern and functional three floor building, with a central patio regarded as a place of relaxation with a tasteful atmosphere. In the basement there is an event room, and on the ground floor the communal facilities, the meeting rooms and an accommodation floor. The upper floors house bedrooms with balconies. The building is provided with double, triple and quadruple bedrooms with private or shared bathrooms. The youth hostel is just 3-5 minutes walking from the University Campus and could be a nice option for students attending the conference. Prices are cheap but, importantly, you need to bring your Hostelling Card, and if you do not have it, please get in your country before coming. It is also possible to get it here in Spain directly in the Hostel (less than 30 years: 5 €, more than 30 years: 12 €)

-People more than 25 years: 22 EUR (IVA and breakfast included)
Prices are per person (not for room). There are double, triple and
quadruple rooms (not single). So we recommend that if you are coming in
groups of 2, 3 or 4 persons you can indicate it to avoid share room with
strange people. Anyway, if you wish to use a double room alone (without
sharing), it is also possible but you should pay a supplement of 8 EUR
to the normal price (16 or 22 EUR)
