Tatiana Montoya García, bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, is a PhD student in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, at the University of Seville). She is member of research group CTS-259 (Experimental Pharmacology and Clinic Pharmacy). Her research career started in 2015, with fellowships from “V Plan Propio de Investigación” of the University of Seville and Ministry of Education and Science. Currently, she has a predoctoral fellowship from University of Seville. Her research interests are the functionality of several secoiridoids and their derivatives, from olive tree as modulators on immunoinflammatory disorders, such as implication of possible epigenetic mechanisms. Her studies are focused on validating the use of nutraceuticals as potential dietary supplement in autoimmune diseases, particularly lupus erythematosus systemic and rheumatoid arthritis. In 2018, she had a short-stay at Institute of Developmental Science, General Hospital of Southampton, University of Southampton (Southampton, United Kingdom) for 3 months.
