Biography

César E. Gutiérrez Jurado is currently the director of Internationalization and Outreach at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (Mexico), where he is also a professor in the Humanities Department.

Moreover, he is currently serving as president of the Mexican Association for International Education (Asociación Mexicana para la Educación Internacional-AMPEI) which congregates most public and private higher education institutions in Mexico interested in international education.

His international and intercultural vision has broadened through his education, graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso (United States of America) with a degree in Organizational & Corporate Communication in the United States and obtaining masters in higher education from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua.

He has wide experience in developing university´s joint programs with world-class HEIs around the globe. He is passionate about higher education, especially about internationalization, faculty, staff and student mobility as well as international partnerships for research, teaching and extension experiences.
