As a continuation of the First and Second International Courses of Mathematical Analysis in Andalucia, the Third Course will be held in La Rábida (Huelva) in September 2007 with a similar structure. There will be three-hour seminars and one-hour lectures where distinguished investigators will explore topics in Functional Analysis, Harmonic Analysis and Complex Variables.
Our goal is to provide an extensive overview of the present day research in different areas of Mathematical Analysis that have promise for further development. Furthermore all participants will be welcome to present new research results in short communications.
La Rábida is a scenic and historic site in the South of Spain (close to the place where Columbus departed for his first voyage to America) and a very appropriate location to encourage collaboration and friendship between researchers. Moreover, the geographic situation of La Rábida, 19 kilometres away from Mazagón Beach, 74 KM from Portugal and 80 KM from Riotinto Miner Park and Aracena gives the opportunity to visit different places with a wide tourist and cultural interest.
