GETTING TO SEVILLE
Sevilla is easy to reach from the main Spanish cities. Sevilla has an international airport (Sevilla-San Pablo Airport) and a main train station (Sevilla-Santa Justa) with a fast-track railway connecting Sevilla with Madrid as well as many other important cities in Spain.
AIRPORT
Sevilla - San Pablo Airport is about 10 km far from the city center. The most convenient ways to get to Sevilla is either by bus or by taxi.

TRAIN
Sevilla has good rail connections to Barcelona, Cádiz, Córdoba, Jaén, Jerez de la Frontera, Granada, Huelva, Madrid, and Málaga. The fast–track AVE railway line provides a 2h 30min connection to Madrid every hour. For more information you can go to the train company.

AROUND SEVILLE
Red painted city buses are the predominant public transportation. Information about bus lines (and tramway line T1) at Transportes Urbanos de Sevilla (TUSSAM), 955 010 010. You can get a one trip ticket (1,40 €) directly from the driver (or from the machines in the tramway stations) but it is cheaper if you buy a rechargeable travel card (they can be purchased at most magazine stands you find on the sidewalks all around the city):
There are two types of cards, one without the possibility of transfer (called "tarjeta sin trasbordo") and one with it (called "tarjeta con trasbordo"). Both can be bought by paying 1,50€ and can be charged with a minimum of 7€.
Using the "tarjeta sin trasbordo", one trip costs 0,69€
Using the "tarjeta con trasbordo", all trips in different lines (during 1 hour) cost 0,76€

PUBLIC BIKE SERVICE: SEVICI
You can easily obtain a short term subscription which lasts 7 days.
Price: Weekly amount to register to the System: 11€ + Deposit: 150€ (returned unless the bike is lost or stolen).
The first 30 minutes are free. If you still need the bike just find a Sevici Station, put your bike back, and take it out again. If you exceed 30 minutes without recharging at a station, you will be charged. The 1st hour after the first 30 minutes costs 1€, and after an hour and a half, its 2 € per hour. To register, go to any Sevici Station with your credit card, and follow the on-screen instructions.
