9:00 Workshop presentation by P. Real.

9:30-10:30 Professor Kropatsch's talk. Questions about the talk.

10:30-11:30 Professor Bandera's talk. Questions about the talk.

11:30-12:00 Coffee break.

12:00-13:00 Professor Lienhardt's talk.Questions about the talk.

13:00-13:30 Working group between speakers and participants and conclusions about the use of combinatorial pyramids and combinatorial maps in artificial visual attention systems. Closing.

The main goal of this working group is to share solutions and/or proposals for working the following problems:

  • Development of perception process based on grouping using combinatorial pyramids structures.

  • Detection of pre-attention objects, using this grouping schema and homological computation techniques.

THURSDAY, APRIL, 8th 2010

9:30-10:30 Professor Molina-Abril's talk. Questions about the talk.

10:30-11:30 Professor Jiang's talk. Questions about the talk.

11:30-12:00 Coffee break.

12:00-13:00 Professor Frosini's talk. Questions about the talk.

13:00-13:30 Working group between speakers and participants and conclusions about the use of homological spanning trees, cohomological algebra and persistent homology in the artificial visual attention systems.

The main goal of this working group is to share solutions and/or proposals for working the following problems:

  • Tracking of charcateristics from the image using the same hierarchical.

  • Detection process integration and tracking into an attention mecanism.

  • Generic proccessing hierarchically controlled. This generic knowledge can be obtained before and can lead to describe hierarchically objects of interest with abstract properties (i.e. connectivity, articulation...).
