Panel 1: Publishing Culture in the BPM Community - Papers, papers, papers?
Publications play a central role when aiming for scientific progress. They are a means to structure the scientific process and, to some extent, also the organization of the scientific community in a certain field. This panel is dedicated to some reflections on the publishing culture in the BPM community. That includes the role of various types of publication outlets, from workshops to journals, as well as their specificity or generality. Moreover, we intend to discuss the role of publications in the assessment of research quality, their implications for scientific careers, and potential related pitfalls.

Panel 2: Privacy in Data-Driven Process Analysis - More Chance or Risk for Industry Adoption?
The increasing depth and scope of data-driven process analysis, or process mining in the broadest sense, means that data containing sensitive information may be of interest for process analysis. Data that could potentially be related to individual process stakeholders, service providers as well as service consumers, may be exposed through analysis tools. This panel will review whether process mining creates new challenges in privacy management, also in the light of the various domains domains in which process analysis may be conducted. Moreover, our focus will be on potential implications for tool vendors and the process analytics market.
